Today would be another sightseeing day in Berlin for Andrzej and I. The first main place we went to was Schloss Charlottenburg, the palace in Berlin where the rulers of Prussia lived some 300 years ago. There was an exhibit of rare Faberge Eggs on display in part of the palace. The eggs were beautiful. They are very special objects. The line up to enter the main part of the palace was realllllllly long, so we were contented to take pictures outside:

There was also a huge garden behind the palace. We wandered around there for a while, too. There were a collection of European squirrels frolicking and making evil conspiracies in the gardens, too. The squirrels in Europe are different from the squirrels you may have seen in Canada. They are RED! It's safe to assume that the Communist Squirrels of Europe are involved in even deeper and eviller conspiracies than the timid brown and gray squirrels of the North American continent are even capable of doing. My cousin is quite amused with my squirrel theories, but doesn't quite believe me.

Andrzej and I soon felt hungry and went looking for lunch. We went to one of the food stalls in front of the train station, the same one that I went to breakfast for two days earlier. Andrzej and I had currywurst! There is a sign that was hanging right above the food stall that really amused me:

On one of the roads between the train station and our hotel, there was a bakery that had an AWESOME name that made me crack up every time that we walked passed it. I had to take a picture of it:

HAHAHAHAHA! CROBAGCO! That's so funny.

Anyways, Andrzej and I decided that it would be nice to go for a boat cruise on the Spree River in central Berlin. It was a nice and relaxing way to chill out for an hour:

Oh yeah, I should prolly mention that Andrzej and I smuggled some beers onto the boat. Excellent.

Ooh there was an excellent picture on the boat, too! Don't stand up or you might get a big dent in your head!

So today really is Funny Sign Day, since I saw another bakery with an awesome name at the Friedrichstrasse Station.

OH MAN! LE CROBAG! That could be even better than CroBagCo.

Seriously now... it was time for Andrzej and I to go see what was left of the Berlin Wall. Most of it has been torn down and taken away, but a few sections still remain. The longest is the East Side Gallery, which seems to be set up mostly as an open air art gallery.

Some of the art was very well done. Especially this picture of the Party Owl added by Yours Truly (WOOT WOOT):

We also travelled to another portion of the Berlin Wall that was not set up as an art gallery (except for random grafitti, not by yours truly), and was in greater disrepair:

We then travelled to Checkpoint Charlie, the main point of crossing the Berlin Wall. This is set up as a major tourist trap these days.

After Checkpoint Charlie, it was time for dinner. We wouldn't be going to a restaurant today, but would just go to the supermarket to pick up food (and beer!). We ate dinner on the lovely balcony of our hotel room. We had some sausages, buns, cheese, and potato chips (and beer!). Thai-Sweet-Chili-flavoured potato chips are really yummy!
